Our one day Offshore Personal Safety refresher course renews your existing Offshore Personal Safety / Advanced Sea Survival  certificate (which expires after 5 years).

This course covers essential theory, changes to regulations, industry updates, and practical skills (wet drills) to equip you for a wide range of emergency scenarios at sea.

You must provide a copy of your previous certificate issued within the past seven years in order to receive a new certificate on completion.

This certificate meets the the requirement by Maritime NZ for the International Voyaging Certificate (IVC) and by Yachting NZ for Category 1 races. This is not an NZQA accredited course.

The certificate is valid for 5 years, accredited by Yachting New Zealand and recognised by World Sailing and Maritime NZ.
