Qualification: Prepares you for 500 GT SRL Endorsement oral exam.
Aim: To help skippers who hold SRL in the completion of their 500 GT Trianing Record Book and prepare for the MNZ oral exam, which can be completed immediately after.
Timeframe: 1 day workshop to complete the TRB.
Recognition: The completed TRB along with 12 months of sea time on vessels >12m meet the Maritime NZ requirements to sit the oral examination for the 500 GT SRL endorsement.
Price: $250.00 +GST
Requirements:
You must have completed at least 12 months of sea time on commercial
vessels over 12m and completed all practical components of the TRB.

Maritime NZ oral exam: We will have the Maritime NZ oral examiner here for you to sit your MNZ exam straight after the workshop. Select the ‘Maritime NZ 500GT Oral Exam’ ticket below to sign up for this. Cost is $225+GST for the exam fee. (For students attending in class only)
